He started to dig the mountains with his family and tools. It was a very hard job. A man named Zhi Yu saw him and laughed. "You are so old and weak. How can you move the mountains?" Yu Gong said, "You are wrong. My sons will continue the work after I die. My grandsons will continue after my sons. Then their sons and grandsons will continue. The mountains will not grow, but we will. So one day, we will move them away."**
